Toni is a paramedic with nearly three decades experience in front line emergency medicine both with military service and civilian life. He has worked in some of the remotest and most hostile parts of the world including Africa, Middle East and Northern Europe, to name a few. This has objectively enabled him to develop a wealth of knowledge in treating casualties in differing environments and I have seen him teach students to the highest standard in frontline haemorrhage control techniques. I have no hesitation in recommending Toni or working with in the future

I first met Toni while out in Afghanistan during the first national elections. A stoic, practical and fearless man who willingly faced the many dangers we encountered out there at that time. He accompanied me into a collapsed building where many people died with words and calm humility, saying something like 'Right pal, lets get on with it!'. He is the type of many who just applies himself, gets on with it and you know intuitively that things will get done no matter what the hardship. Since those heady days of practicing 'medicine on the lunatic fringe' I have watched his career with interest and it's always a pleasure to meet up and know that he is saving as many lives today with his teaching of haemorrhage control as he did while practicing on the front line of the NHS or in the back of an Mi8 helicopter flown by drunk Ukranian crews with dodgy communications and crappy fuel. He is a guy to be relied on, a guy who gets things done and a guy you can trust when he gives his word.

I have know Toni for the best part of twenty years. I first met him when he was an NHS paramedic bringing patients into the emergency department in which I worked, and then as a remote area medic for whom I provided "topside cover" and medical direction. I have also taken one of his excellent courses in haemorrhage control. A great character, hard worker, utterly dependable medical professional and excellent instructor. Dr Bob Mark FIMC RCSEd. Formerly: Associate Specialist, Emergency Department, Bradford Royal Infirmary, UK and Clinical Advisor, Frontier Medical Services, UK.

"I've had the pleasure of working alongside Tony for over 5 years since he first joined Medtrade. As the former owner and MD of SP Services, I have asked Tony to attend Bastion House on many occasions to train our staff on haemorrhage control as well as run many many CPD days for our customers and their colleagues. Tony often appears to spend every evening and weekend running CPD events across the UK, getting the message out there to so many people who are eager to learn. Tony is a natural trainer, he's a real people person. Customers just love soaking up his knowledge. As a former NHS paramedic and British military medic, Tony was a wealth of real-world experience that this gives him huge credibility. He seems to love nothing more than getting stuck in with a group of willing students and a blood spirting body part. Tony's knowledge on haemostatic dressings, tourniquets and bleeding control must have been passed on to thousands of students by now. Many of the sessions he has run have been 'train the trainer' so he must have indirectly helped tens of thousands of first aiders and medics by now. That's no small achievement for one man. Tony is always attending industry events, conferences and exhibitions. He's my 'go-to-guy' when I need any support on haemostatics., tourniquets, any anything trauma related"
